Description:
Brass kymograph in wooden case. Drum driven by internal spring. Case contains twelve sheets of white recording paper, and one smoked sheet with four traces recorded on it. Manufacturer's stamp on drum, inside base of case, case lid handle. Some fittings are of another metal. Includes two brass [detector] cups, one 6 cm diam. with black cloth straps, the other 11.7 cm diam.; small tube-connector with lever-grip; screw regulator for communicating tube; two small discs with blackened coating (flaking off); tripod stand (apparently also for small cup). One small wooden cylinder with velvet top. Case closes with a small ferrous key.
