Notes:
Inscribed "Dr. W.G. Alling, Presented by friends and patients, at the State Hospital, New Haven, Conn, Dec. 22nd, 1869" "From records of patients, it is recorded that at the close of 1868, forty five of forty six admitted soldiers were released and returned to their avocation."
