Scannell Apparatus for the transfusion of whole blood. Mahogany case with a cracked top cover,that has two sections. The lower section contains syringes, needles, valves and tubing and is complete; the upper section compartment is empty.

Correspondence with Madeline Stanton which includes a letter from J.J.Byrne, MD, Prof. of Surgery, Boston University, to be given a photograph.
