Notes:
The symbol of the founding fathers of the Yale Historical Library. Three leaves on a stem. Originallly designed by Arnold Klebs. "We ought to call it our trefoil solidarity and use as emblem the clover leaf...and the inversly heart-shaped leaves ... are quite appropriate and nicely stamped on some of our beloved volumes..." (The making of a library, Yale University, 1959 )
